KYN28-12 Indoor Metal-Clad Withdrawable AC Switchgear

The KYN28-12 indoor AC metal-clad withdrawable switchgear is a complete power distribution system designed for three-phase AC 50Hz systems with a rated voltage of 3–12kV. It is suitable for single busbar and single busbar sectionalized systems.

This switchgear is mainly used in power plants, small and medium-sized generator power transmission systems, industrial and mining enterprises, power distribution systems, and secondary substations in electrical power systems. It is also widely applied for incoming and outgoing feeders as well as starting and controlling large high-voltage motors, serving functions of control, protection, and monitoring.

The KYN28-12 switchgear complies with the requirements of DL/T 404, IEC 60298, and GB 3906 standards. It is equipped with comprehensive interlocking functions to ensure safe operation, including:

• Preventing circuit breaker racking in/out under load

• Preventing accidental opening/closing of the circuit breaker

• Preventing closing of the earthing switch when the circuit breaker is closed

• Preventing the earthing switch from being closed when the system is energized

• Preventing access to live compartments

The switchgear is equipped with a vacuum circuit breaker and offers excellent performance as a reliable power distribution solution.
