The GGD Low-Voltage Switchgear Assembly is a newly developed and widely used fixed-type low-voltage switchgear system in China. It is designed to provide safe, reliable, and efficient power distribution and control solutions for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
The switchgear complies with the requirements of IEC 60439 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies and GB/T 7251.1 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies, ensuring high performance, operational safety, and dependable service.
The GGD AC Low-Voltage Distribution Cabinet adopts a universal cabinet structure. The frame is assembled from BMF cold-formed steel sections through partial welding, providing excellent structural strength and stability. Frame components and dedicated accessories are supplied by specialized manufacturers to ensure high precision and consistent product quality.
The cabinet components are designed according to a modular concept and feature 20 mm modular mounting holes, offering a high degree of standardization and interchangeability. This modular design facilitates mass production, shortens manufacturing lead times, and improves production efficiency.
The GGD cabinet is specifically designed with thermal management in mind. Ventilation slots are provided at both the top and bottom of the enclosure. As electrical components generate heat during operation, warm air rises and is discharged through the upper vents, while cool air enters through the lower vents. This creates a natural airflow channel inside the cabinet, ensuring effective heat dissipation and stable equipment operation.
The cabinet's appearance is designed according to modern industrial design principles, incorporating the golden ratio to achieve harmonious proportions and an attractive overall appearance. The result is a clean, professional, and aesthetically pleasing design.
The cabinet door is connected to the frame using movable hinge mechanisms, making installation and removal quick and convenient. Rubber sealing strips are fitted along the folded edges of the door. When closed, the door maintains a slight compression against the frame, preventing direct impact and improving the enclosure's protection performance.
Instrument doors equipped with electrical components are connected to the frame using multi-strand flexible copper grounding conductors. Internal mounting parts are secured to the frame with knurled screws, forming a complete and reliable grounding protection system.
The cabinet surface is finished with polyester orange-texture baked paint, which provides excellent adhesion, durability, and corrosion resistance. The matte finish minimizes glare and creates a more comfortable visual environment for operating personnel.
The cabinet top cover can be removed when necessary, facilitating the installation and adjustment of main busbars on-site. Lifting rings are installed at the four top corners of the cabinet for convenient handling and transportation.
The standard enclosure protection rating is IP30, while customized protection levels ranging from IP20 to IP40 can be provided according to specific environmental and application requirements.
